Cookies, Pound Cakes, & Bars...oh my!
All of my cakes &
cookies are baked to order from scratch using only the freshest, finest quality
ingredients in my licensed and inspected home kitchen in beautiful Appleton,
Maine. I never use a box mix. My cakes & cookies are made fresh with Land O
Lakes Butter, Domino Sugar, Pure Nielsen-Massey Vanilla, Gold Medal or King
Arthur Flour, Premium Ghirardelli Chocolate, Wild Maine Blueberries, Fresh Georgia Pecans,
Fresh Penzey’s Spices and Farm-Fresh Eggs.
Pound
Cakes, cookies & bars are packed into a beautiful 10” keepsake tin or a
pretty striped kraft box with a raffia ribbon bow
or packaged
in a cellophane bag tied with a pretty raffia ribbon where
indicated.
1. Hand Decorated Cookies
Choose between...
All Butter Cookies - These rich, hand rolled
and hand cut butter cookies are baked in small batches flavored with a hint of
citrus (my signature flavor!) then hand decorated with royal icing. The Butter
Cookies may also be flavored with your choice of Pure Vanilla, Almond, Lemon,
Orange, Maple or Cinnamon.
Gingerbread Cookies - These cookies are crisp & spicy! Loaded with
fresh ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, brown sugar & molasses this dough is
hand stirred and refrigerated for 48 hours to blend & mature the spices. It is
then hand rolled, cut & decorated...yummy for the fall & winter holidays!

These 10” Gourmet Quality All Butter Pound
Cakes are made to order from scratch in single batches…they are densely buttery,
moist & delicious! The Pound Cake tops are a crunchy sweet broken crust bite
of heaven with the soft buttery cake beneath...complete & total deliciousness! All the
Pound Cakes listed below are baked in GENEROUS 10” tube
pans and will serve 16-20.
The price is $48.00 per
cake with the tin or $42.00 for local pickup in a bakery box.

3. Seriously Chocolate Brownies
These melt in your mouth brownies are for “Chocolate Professionals” only! Every
dozen contain over 1 lb. of chocolate that is hand blended with real vanilla,
fresh butter and eggs. All the brownies are 4”x2” individually wrapped
bars…yum! The brownies may also be placed individually in a cellophane bag and
tied with a pretty raffia ribbon as special party favors…please ask me about
this!

4. Buttery Chocolate Chip Bars
Think about a rich,
buttery chocolate chip cookie in a big, soft bar! Children of all ages love
these! All the bars are 4”x2” individually wrapped bars.

5. Great-Great Grandma Smith’s New England Hermit Bars
These are the old
fashioned spicy hermit bars with raisins and English Walnuts you may remember
from your childhood. These get better with age…our forefathers took hermits on
long sea voyages with them!
5. 18 hermit bars with the tin are $42.00.
6. Moxie Cake…a.k.a. Ugly Chocolate Cake!
This chocolate spice cake
actually has a whole 12 oz. can of “Moxie” in the cake and glaze and is so good
it melts in your mouth! It is a very soft cake and is baked in an aluminum 13” x
9” pan like a rather ugly boring sheet cake…it is anything but! My husband asks
for this cake for his birthday every year if that tells you something! Now the
bad news…the cake is too fragile to ship so it is for local pickup only.
